VINTAGE 1974 GIBSON EB3-L long-scale BASS with original hardshell case
worldwide shipping!
Approaching its 40th birthday, this vintage EB3L long-scale is in very nice shape, as the photographs attest. Included is the original purple velvet lined Gibson hardshell case, as well as the accumulated exterior play wear and nicks and scratches to the finish one would expect of a well loved, well cared for, and well played guitar of this age and pedigree, at no extra charge. There are NO breaks, NO cracks and NO repairs. This bass is solid. The action is super low and super fast, thanks to the original "fretless wonder" gibson frets. It is an ab solute pleasure to play, with a great feel and really fluid, easy fingering; great for bending notes, and super fast. The neck is arrow-straight and true. The long-scale "L" model EB3 is of course, the rarest and most sought after of the eb's, and with good reason. The original frets are still going strong, I have just had the frets dressed and the guitar professionally set up, and it plays perfectly, no buzzing, no dead spots. The sound of the bass is of course, absolutely unreal. It's just the nastiest, meanest, rockrolliest around. End of story.
